Not receiving calls

Hi,

 

My BB Bold 9790 will not receive calls even though I have full service on 3G. When being called, the person who is calling gets my voice mail straight away even though I have service.

Try rebooting the device, perhaps it is not being seen by the network.

 

Do a simple reboot on the BlackBerry in this manner: With the BlackBerry device POWERED ON, remove the battery for a minute, and then reinsert the battery to reboot. A reboot in this manner is prescribed for most glitches and operating system errors, and you will lose no data on the device doing this.

I have tried that already yesterday and it still seems to be happening.. Also, my phone keeps trying to connect to a WIFI connection even though I do not have that settign turned on

Oh. What else have you done that you've not stated? It helps to know...

 

Remove and replace the SIM card in the device.

 

For the WiFi: your WiFi is set to OFF, and yet it continues to try connect to local WiFi routers?
