OS 7 update

I resetly performed the update to my OS 7 software on my Bold Touch. Immediately afterwards, my audio on my ringer (ringtones, audible alerts, alarm clock, etc) would not work. It vibrates as normal. I checked all my setting and their unchanged. I removed the battery and let it reboot. Great, fixed the problem for about 24 hours then it returned. Same thing, no audible alerts. Does anyone know a fix?

Hello matttatum and welcome to the BlackBerry Support Community Forums.

 

Backup your device data and clear the Sounds/Profiles data base as shown in KB10167

After the data base is clear, recreate your sound settings.

 

If the tone still does not play, reinstall your device software as shown in KB11320 and test before restoring your device data.

FYI- I pulled the battery again and it seems to be working fine now.
