POOR SERVICE

Myself Arashdeep Singh, I am from Chandigarh. I am using blackberry torch 9800. I bought this mobile from Canada & I am using it in india. I had a problem with my phone & when I went to REDINGTON office for the repair the person at the reception din't even check the phone & said that we don't touch phones brought from abroad. Can i know Y is this so> Blackberry is an international company like APPLE & these problems should not be made to the customers saying that it can't be done. I was horrified the way the reception person talked with me. Very sorry to say but being such a gud brand name I never expected the recruitment for the staff would be like this. I want to know what's the harm in touching the phones brought from abroad when the compan itself has it head office in USA. I would like you to please provide me with some good replies from your side.

Re: POOR SERVICE

This is a user-to-user community support forum. We are not RIM employees, but volunteers who enjoy assisting other users. RIM personnel rarely comment on queries posted here. You would have noticed this in the EULA and message upon registration.

But, likely, the reason is that you killed the warranty when removing the device from the locked carrier.

Sorry, being a proud Canadian means I can't let this one go unanswered.  RIM is headquartered in Waterloo, Ontario, which is in Canada, not the USA.

Just a small point, really, but a big one to us Canadians.  Smiley Happy
