Hi,I got the same problem with my BB bold ..I got a solution,go to security then click encryption under device memory disable encrypt it will ask for your password then after you closed it go back to security password click disable..hope this helps you..God Bless! :-)

Hello , Did you checked encrypt Box? and u checked media files and chose device password? ... just go to encrypt again and uncheck the *Encrypt* Box .. and there you go Smiley Happy

go to options >> security>> encryption and uncheck all boxes and save once done u can go back to password n disable it the padlock /red mark disappears
