Password Forgotten

Hello,

I have a blackberry curve and I have forgotten the password to login to it.  Why am I such an **bleep**?  Well I got a new blackberry through work and have not used this one in over a year.  My wifes broke so I figure I would get this one running for her.  After getting it charged up it seems to be running just fine, BUT I CAN NOT FOR THE LIFE OF ME REMEMBER THE PASSWORD.  My name shows up on the screen, so I would be willing to go into a store get help, but before I did that I figured I would check to see if anyone here knows what I can do.  I don't care if I wipe out all the data, but I also don't have any of the original packaging, etc.

Thanks!

Welcome to the forums tlaughton Smiley Happy

If you have forgotten your password and don't care if the device gets wiped, just keep putting in a wrong password. After several attempts (usually 10) the device will wipe itself and should be password free!

Re: Password Forgotten

Hi there!

Indeed, you are out of luck. See this KB...there is no back door password:

Good luck!
