Password Keeper is quite secure, like the password on your device, if you enter the password on your PK incorrectly after (I think) ten incorrect attempts, Password Keeper will delete all data within.
I don't know of a limit on the entries--I suspect that like the Address Book, it is limited only by your device memory.

JSanders is correct. If you input the incorrect password 10 times in a row, all of the stored passwords are wiped.
I've used the application and it's very useful if you have a lot of passwords to keep track of. Like this, you only need to keep track of the one used on the main Password Keeper application. Like you, I was skeptical and don't like to keep my passwords stored anywhere, but after trying it out, I'm no longer concerned with using it.
