I just bought a Blackberry torch 9800, os 6.0 and had a great experience.
This is my first blackberry so I didn't had much knowledge about all the
features, but now I got to know that I can protect my blackberry with a
pin/password (common feature) as a whole but I can't do the same for some
specific folders(SMS's or some media folders).
Also it has no FM Radio.(A very common and needed application (in India
atleast don't know about rest of the countries))
I don't know why a FM is missing in it ? As of now I think BB is also
targeting to a wider consumer groups rather than sticking to comparatively
smaller group of professionals.!
These two things had really disappointed me and some of my
friends/colleagues had dropped the idea to buy blackberry. Also now days
these features are quite common and expected to be bundled in every handset.
(or a 3rd party app is available but BB has not)
It would be great to protect specific folder like SMS and media and I really
need them for personal security reasons.
So, I kindly request you to consider this and let me know if anything
related to this is available in the market OR if you guys are working on it
and ready to roll out, then plz do let me know so that I can upgrade my Torch 9800.

You could use some time doing some research first before you complain... or just ask!
1. There are numerous third party applications that offer FM radio (There are very few cell phones which include actual FM radio bands onboard the device). Look at Pandora Radio, iHeartRadio, moodio.fm, flycast.fm and many others.
2. Third party apps also provide specific folder protection: Try iLock
