Pearl 8100 blocked

Hi all

I've an old Pearl 8100 ( bought before 2008) branded Vodafone that with a SIM different from vodafone it doesn't work. Can you help me to unblock it?

Unfortunately I've discovered the problem was because my new SIM is UMTS and it seems not supported by my BB.
