There is no option in BlackBerry to forward a call after 3 ring. What you can do is use GSM codes for call forwarding. Used the following - **61*voice mail number*5#
Above Voice Mail number is provided by your carrier and 5 denotes after getting a call your phone will ring for 5 sec after which it will be forwarded to your VM number. This value can be set between 5 to 30.

Apparently this is something unique to the 8300 phone.
I had a 7200 before. Had it changed to 5 rings before it went to voice mail.
It still rings 5 times incoming before it goest to voice mail.
But I only get 3 rings on my Curve
