I just updated the software of my BB curve 9360 as instructed by your BB desktop software, but ever since I did, I have been unable to use it.
1) The phone has a permanent message that covers the entire screen and says: "THIS HANDHELD DEVICE INCLUDES SOFTWARE THAT IS PROPERTY AND CONFIDENTIAL TO RESEARCH IN MOTION LIMITED ("RIM") AND/OR ITS AFFILIATES AND SUPPLIERS. Except to the extent that RIM is expressly precluded by law from prohibiting you from doing so, ".
2) The scroll function (square like shape button) in the middle of the device doesn't work
3) When I attemp to to make a call (by pressing the call button) another message appear in red "Press (BB icon) to attempt an emergency call.
What should I do?.
Please your help ASAP

Do a simple reboot on the BlackBerry in this manner: With the BlackBerry device POWERED ON, remove the battery for a minute, and then reinsert the battery to reboot. A reboot in this manner is prescribed for most glitches and operating system errors, and you will lose no data on the device doing this.
Let us know if this message remains.
ALSO: You have your mobile phone number listed as your "My Mobile Provider" or carrier. Putting your phone number out on the internet on these public forums for the world to see, is not wise. To change that, at the top of this page click on My Settings > Personal Profile > Personal Information, and in the entry block for "Carrier" type the name of your mobile provider.
