Phone is dialling + 1 758 whenever I make a local call.

I live in St. Lucia and the country code to call from abroad is 1-758. Since I returned from the US to St. Lucia with my phone, it now dials +1 758 before all local St. Lucian numbers, and as such, the call doesn't go through properly. I need it instead to just dial the 7 digit phone number like it was doing before I went to the US. Any suggestions on how to solve this problem?

Thanks!

Re: Phone is dialling + 1 758 whenever I make a local call.

You need to do following steps to change default country code of your mobile :-

Step 1. press menu key

Step 2.choose options

Step 3. Smart dialing

Step 4. Change country code from +1 to your need such that +91 or other, or in your case, remove the smart dialing prefix.

If you are not finding "smart dialing" in options menu then you need to open call logs and press menu key.

you will find smart dialing there.
