Phone lock

Blackberry pearl 9100

 

I locked the phone, now I am unable to unlock it, it says to press the mute button, CAN'T FIND IT, MUTE BUTTION IS NOT MARKED. I pressed every button on the phone it will nOT unlock, I can't use it now, is there a way to to unlock the thing? or do I have to manualy do a compleate factory reset and settings wipe?

I pulled the battery out wile the phone was on, that seems to have unlocked it

how do I set which key i want to use to unlock the phone? or can it be set?

The mute button is on the top edge of the device.
