Phones not functioning!!

Today, out of nowhere, I started noticing that in a text, I was unable to type the letter E. No matter how many times I pressed it. Then I restarted it, and now the backlight in the screen takes over a minute to light up, even though I'm pressing buttons over and over. I also cannot scroll left or right in a menu, cannot open up the browser or any apps, etc.

 

I really mean that it happened out of nowhere. Everything was fine throughout the day. I haven't dropped it, no water damage, etc.
