Pin problems!



This is my first post and I am hoping you can help me!


I have a curve and i want to set up a pin for it so that it will ask me for it when i switch the device on, I have done Security, general settings but i can only enable or disable.


I went to password keeper thinking this may help but I am now up to attempt number 8 out of 10, I do have the PUK code but I read in the manual that if the pin is not put in correctly in the end then the device will be wiped!


I am stumped about this, I used to have a 7280 and that was fine setting the pin on that was easy, I have sent my old contacts and messages to my new Blackberry using the manager ( I have kept the same number but have changed the service provider, I was with Telstra and I am now with Vodafone) 


I really would appreciate some help with this

Enable the password and then your set the password.
