There is no online documentation that I could find. If you could point me to the link, that would be helpful.
It appear that RIM have produced at least 3 versions of the pod for markets outside of the USA. This seems strange if the only difference is the plug (for which they would normally supply adaptors). So I wonder if there is anything about the electrical specification of the charging pod which differs between countries.
12V 2A UK version
12v 2a EU version
12V 2A AU VERSION

Hi I just picked up a playbook 64 and bought the Blackberry Playbook Charging Pod ACC-39340-103.
The box specifies "North American Power Adaptor but the actual adapters specs are:
Input 100-240V 600mA 50-60hz
Output 12V 2.0A
As I see the adaptor is rated for Europe as well but the electrical cord that connects to the adaptor/wall receptacle has a sticker on it saying 125V 7A.
I am traveling to Europe in the next couple of weeks and would like to use the charging pod when I am there. Is it safe to use the same electrical cord with a european plug adapter?

Yes it'll work, but you will need a wall plug adaptor, US to UK which is a couple of bucks. Another idea is to try a computer shop in the United Kingdom and buy a UK power cord since the plug on the power brick is a standard type.
