Please Help!!! Unable to reconnect message error

Hi Everyone,

I just done the new update for my pearl 8110...everything goes along smoothly until the reconnect stage.....then a message appears stating...unable to reconnect to the device during a multi-stage load operation.  Does anyone have any idea what is happening and how I can fix it.  I can't use my phone now!!!!  Please Help!!!!  Thanks

Yes, it is most often the error encounted when the USB cable is not plugged to rear USB powered port on your PC.


Make certain your USB cable is connected to one of the PC's main rear USB ports. Not a USB hub, nor a monitor USB port, nor a USB port on the front of the PC.

Yes.

 

Disconnect the BB from the USB, reboot the PC and try again.

Have you tried using a DIFFERENT USB port on the rear of your PC?

I have used every USB port on the computer....I guess I will just have to pay for tech support with BB.  Nothing seems to work.

Yep, already done that one also.  Still wont reconnect.  I really dont want to call, but the options at this point are few I am afraid.

ok at this point you need to resort the JLCmder to connect.

 

You will need to use JL_Cmder to wipe the device and subsequently load the OS to the device. Follow the instructions here:
