Hi I am in your same situation
but in Italy , as i bought a BB 8320 in New York...and when i went back to Italy
it started working .....but after a while i wasn't able to go on email or internet trought BIs account anymore
i deleted all the accounts and tried again , now it says pin and imei incorrects....
anyone can help^????

I would recommend contacting your wirless service provider regarding this issue.
