Please help! Screen or digitiser?

Blackberry Curve 9380 - the touch one 

OS 7 

 

I had dropped the phone and it has caused touch screen issues such as the whole of the right end side (the part where the backspace button is) is dead and un responsive at all, as if its not there at all. Now I'm not sure what to get replaced the digitizer or the whole actual screen? I don't want to get the whole thing replaced due to personal issues but please help!

I would suggest first creating a backup of your data: www.blackberry.com/btsc/KB33505 then proceed to following the steps in this KB article.

 

www.blackberry.com/btsc/KB11320 and then test the full touchscreen out prior to restoring any data.

 

If the issue still persists, then I suggest contacting your network service provider for repair options.
