I've been syncing regularly with the new patch for more than a week now and it works consistently, slowly but surely.
A also uninstalled the Logitech driver from my Macbook. My Marble Mouse works just fine without it, and since then I have not had a recurrence of the post-sync lock-up I reported earlier.

although syncing now works, pocketmac crashes 1 out of 2 sync attempts. After the first crash, nothing appears to be synced, but after 2nd successful sync, any changes that were made on the computer get replaced by the existing version on the phone.
help! (i have the crash report, but it exceeds the character limit of the post.)

This is a crock. Why is it so hard to get Pocketmac and BB Curve to sync contacts? I'm getting fed up.
Sorry, nothing useful here, just a rant.

Sorry to hear people are still having trouble syncing.
Have you downloaded the new firmware from Apple? I'm not sure if this will help but it purports to address USB issues.

could you expand on the firmware mention?
i did see a recent set of firmware updates a few weeks back and those have been done via "Software Updater".
is there a second one we might be missing?

and where did you find the firmware update?
was it through the software update?
can you be more specific?
and i hear the sync time is now even longer 60+ minutes.
40 minutes was ridiculous. is it really worse now?
