I just got an unlocked blackberry torch and tried to connect to the Second Cup free wifi. It appears to be connected, but the browser didn't prompt me to the login page. Even if I typed in the address of the login site it didn't work. Instead, it failed to open any page, giving an error message "Unable to connect to the Internet, please try again later. If the problem persists please contact your service provider." Any clue how to solve this problem?

I had the same problem at a Starbucks on Saturday with my 9700. It would in fact open the browser and try to link to the website and then all of a sudden the phone would re-boot as if I'd done a battery pull. Went through this painful process 3 times and gave up trying to connect.
