My BB is a Torch, 9800 (not as probably it might appear to you from the way I have made selections with devices).
I bought it almost 2 years. I have a BIS still active. Connection to the internet using my data plan is never a problem.
But I had never successfully connected via a wifi. I took the phone to my carrier service about 6 months ago. They backed up the data, and reformatted it and reinstalled Blackberry OS. And said they could not fix the problem and that they were so sorry there was nothing they can do since the warranty period is over. Otherwise they would have replaced it with a brand new unit. So the problem remained. I wonder whether there is any solution to this. I am in Kuching, Sarawak, Malaysia. Is there any BB Service Center here?
Can anybody help me?
