Problem updating avatar

Hi there, Until today I'm still have a problem with updating the avatar. Any idea whether RIM already 100% fixed ? And I heard from some forum in the internet that in order to make it work i have to downgrade the os to 246. (currently I'm using 337) or wait until RIM realeased a. New version of BBM. Is it true that can be work to updated the avatar ? please help thank you.

Here are two public statements RIM has released in regards to the BBM Avatar issue:
1.BBM Avatars should now be updating in most regions. If you were experiencing issues please try updating your Avatar again.
2. Some users in APAC (the Asia Pacific area) may be experiencing issues with BBM Avatars not updating. Product teams are aware of this issue and looking into it.

I don't know of anything that can be done. Downgrading the OS won't have any effect.
