Problem with charging port in two Bold models?

Issue 1: According to Carphone Warehouse my TWO Blackberry Bold have the charging ports "damaged" which could cost me up to £65 to be fixed! Virgin, my provider, on the other hand say its the charger! Both handsets were working perfectly until the weekend. Can't use any as they are now, dead! Funny though it all happened at the same time too.

Issue 2: Suppose I want to cancel one number paying the fines and all, can I get one fixed and use the SIM card in the other with no problem?

 

Please help me!!!!!

Hi and Welcome to the Community!

Neither of your issues can actually be dealt with in this user-to-user community. Rather, both must be answered by your formal support channels. For your first issue, you seem to have a difference of opinion between two sources -- but, the authoritative source will be that which is responsible for your warranty service and support (which I think is likely Carphone Warehouse...warranty is provided by the original place of purchase). For your second question, you need to talk to the provider of the SIM cards to see if that is at all possible.
