Problem

Hi

some1 please help! i have bought a bb torch on bid or buy. the phone came from china and the bbm does not work. how do i solve this problem.

Hi Priesan,

 

You need sufficient BlackBerry data plan. Call your network provider.

thanks. i have called my provider and they stated that the imei number as well as the bb pin is not recognised here. Will that aid in this issue?

Hi Priesan,

 

Welcome to the Community,

 

Are you able to use other Blackberry apps. like Twitter, Face book,Emails if yes than perform a hard restart like this

While the device is Powered On remove the Battery wait for a min. then reinsert it back wait till it the device take a long Reboot. Do let us know.

i have blackberry internet service activated on my sim card. so dont think that would b the issue

yes i am able to use other apps but i pay for these apps. the Bis is activated but does not work on my handset.

                  On your home screen go to Manage Connection > Service status > Blackberry Internet Service - ?

what you can see there.?
