My Device: Blackberry Curve 8530

Problems with Sound in Multimedia

I have a Blackberry Smartphone Curve 8530.  After either playing a few sounds, taking a few pictures, or watching a video, my sound feature for all sounds on my phone disable.  The only way for me to fix it is to do a hard restart (taking out battery and restarting the phone) or the phone will just reset itself.  I have checked all of the sound profiles on my phone and do not know how to fix the issue.

I just did an update on my software, so I am not sure if this is what the problem is, but it only started happening since the software updated.

I was going to go to Verizon to have them look at it but figured I would look online first.
