Problems with spamming on my BBM Pin



Please can somebody help me, I kept receiving invitation requests recently after travelling on roaming in an african country. I delteted my BBM off the phone and only use Whattsapp, but I am still getting invitation requests in my inbox as they are sending to the phones pin. Is there a way to change the pin or block all these spam invitations. I got over 300 requests last night.


Can somebody from RIM assist me?

The BB PIN is associated to the device at the factory, and only the factory can change it. Since somehow your BB PIN was exposed to some evil sources, you now are left with the result. There is nothing I know of that you can use to block these. But, if you don't respond, eventually they surely will get tired of trying and move onto their next victim.

As a user-to-user community, there is no one here from BlackBerry (there is no more "RIM")...this site is not a channel for any communications with escalations to, nor support from BlackBerry for any purpose whatsoever.

If you require formal support from BlackBerry, you start with your carrier, authorized reseller, or an authorized service center (it varies by region and issue), all who can escalate cases into BlackBerry at no charge to the end user.

There is something called incident support, but it costs to just ask the initial question, since you are bypassing the contract you signed upon purchase. If you wish to investigate that, you can review it here:
