Push to Talk (PTT) Button

Any idea how to disable the push to talk button on the side of the 8310?

You can change it if you go to settings/options/screen keyboard/convenience key options and set it to nothing

Re: Push to Talk (PTT) Button

I have yet to find out how to completely disable PTT but I can tell you how to change the button to serve a different function, or none at all. From Home screen go to you settings --> options --> screen/keyboard and change the settings in the middle for the right and left convenience keys. I made my left one the switch applications button. Good luck!

Re: Push to Talk (PTT) Button

Home screen --> settings --> options --> screen/keyboard. Change the settings for left and/or right convenience keys. You can choose for them to have no function which is the topmost option.
