When will the Torch (or similar model) be available for Sprint?
The Torch looks like what I want.
However, I will never use AT&T - regardless of what phones are on it.
Thanx in advance,

Torch will never work on Sprint network! Sprint is a CDMA network were as Torch supports GSM/UMTS network only. Please find the below -
Wireless Networks Support for Torch

Thanks for the very helpful info, tanzim.
My hope is that BB will have a similar model for use on Sprint's network sooner or later.
My long-time experience with ATT v. Sprint is that Sprint voice quality is much superior and connections are much more reliable. I have also had horrible experience with ATT's support.
Consequently, no phone is worth moving to ATT.
So, I'll just wait.

The 8520 was the same GSM used on several networks! Sprint took it and made it their own, the 8530 the same phone which now has CDMA!
it's just a matter of chip switching!

There are a bunch of Sprint customers who would like to have a Torch like phone:
Sprint really holds the cards in this.
