I have a new Curve frm AT&T. I am accessing my work e-mail throufh BIS. Here is my question, if I read a message on my handheld and I am not running outlook, it deletes the message from the server. If, on the other hand, I read a message in Outlook and then delete it there, it stays on the Blackberry, meaning I have to delete the messages from the handheld. Is there any way around this?
I'm assuming you're using Exchange and OWA integrated through BIS ... you didn't specifically state that. Deletes performed from the Outlook reconcile slowly to the HH. When you delete within Outlook is the item going to Deleted Items or are you hard deleting it (SHIFT+DELETE) ... realistically, expect deleted item reconciliation to take an hour. Over the past week that has been a realistic time for me.

A pop server on your desktop ... ok ... that's a first for me. I tend to well never use pop servers ... but when needed they sit in a data center; not on my desktop.
If it auto-configured itself as an IMAP server, disable the IMAP service running on your desktop.
You're using a kludge to say the least.

Back to your original question ... I don't think BIS can do this ...
*Maybe* with leaving a copy on the mail and using IMAP; highly doubtful with POP though.
You're looking for a rich experience from something that just isn't meant to be rich.
