Questions about App world.

Hello.

I am planning on getting a new Blackberry Pearl from T-Mobile.

I have a few questions.

Do you need an internet service plan with your phone company to download and access App World or can you just use the wifi.

Also, do you need a Paypal account to access App world?

Finally, are there many free Apps in app world like the iPhone app store because I just plan on downloading free apps.

Thanks!

Yes -- see this page for the minimum requirements. You must meet all conditions to use AppWorld:

No -- you only need PayPal in order to purchase the fee-based apps. You can DL all free apps without PayPal, but fee-based apps need to be paid for, and PayPal is presently the only way to do that.

"Many" is a judgement call and a subjective measure. I can't tell you the answer to that since your own expectations will determine your personal answer to that. But, since it's totally free, I encourage you to DL and install it and then judge for yourself.

Good luck!
