Quick Pull

Is this app worth having? I know its free but I don't want it if it is just a memory space taker upper.

Re: Quick Pull

It does what can be considered a simulated batt-pull reboot, freeing up app memory, clearing up memory leaks, closing unneeded apps, etc. It can be scheduled in the middle of the night, so you never notice...but you do notice that things seem to run more smoothly more consistenly. I run it every night, overnight. Keeps things running overall better. Perfect? No. Sometimes, you still need to pop the battery to really clear things up...but "better" is definitly true. And, for free, worth it.

BTW -- last I checked, the "Pro" version was only 99 cents...also worth it.

Cheers!

Re: Quick Pull

I've been using this app for a few weeks and it's okay... did you know you can replicate a battery pull buy pressing ALT+CAP+DEL? works for me ;-)

It was hard enough for me to learn to make my body hit alt, control, delete on a computer all at the same time. Actually, I guess, the keys being closer might make it easier. Coordination isn't my middle name.
