Read Only Directory?

There's a music video that came with my bold that I want to rename, but I get this error message "Operation not allowed in readonly directory" Is there a way to work around this?

Re: Read Only Directory?

Hi and welcome to the forums!

Preloaded ringtones, videos and pictures are loaded with the device OS and are readonly as set by RIM.

I know of no way via PC or the BB to rename these files in the device memory of the phone.

For all intents and purposes they part of the device OS.

Hope this helps!
