Reboot problem - Blackberry 9700

Got my new 9700 three weeks ago, it's been working perfectly until it just rebooted by itself and I've been waiting for it to finish rebooting but its bar has reached last 75% and it just stopped there forever.

Removed the battery and reboot started again but it just reaches the reboot meter to 75% and it just stops there.

Help please!

What happens at 75%, you say nothing, but what is nothing?

Some have found that leaving the battery out for several hours, even a day, might recover it to reboot poperly.

Do have a good backup of the device?

Re: Reboot problem - Blackberry 9700

"Nothing" - it just stops at 75% and I can't do anything with the phone as it's frozen and doesn't complete the reboot process

Found this forum from crackberry, http://forums.crackberry.com/f146/bberry-9700-not-starting-up-405034/ and this has occurred with many other users as well. So I'm glad I found a solution, I wiped out the data from my phone, loaded the OS again and restored the backup and wohoo! my phone is alive!!
