Rebooting error

Hey y'all. Please I need help with my phone. I have a blackberrry torch 9850 which has never had a major problem till now. Yesterday my phone froze while I was typing so I decided to restart it. It then rebooted 3/4 of the way and then froze up. I took out the battery and tried rebooting it again but itstill froze. Since then I have taken out the sd card, tried restarting it in safe mode but it still freezes up 3/4 of the way. It has been almost a whole day now and it hasn't turned still turned on. Please what can I do to make it work again?

Are you able to restart your device in safe mode as shown in KB17877?

 

 

 

I assume, since it's caught in a reboot cycle, when you connect to the Desktop Software it doesn't take a stable connection to reinstall your software?

 

 

 

If that is case, remove your battery and keep it out when you connect to the Desktop Software. You will get a pop up that the device can't connect and there should be Retry, Update and Cancel buttons. Select Update and you will then be able to reinstall the current device software version.

 

 

 

When the load is progressing, you will see a step that says "Wait for device initialization". At this point, insert the battery and the reload should complete.

I've tried what you suggested but when I connected it to the desktop, no pop up came up. The red LED light turns on for a while then it turns off and it does this in every 10 seconds
