Receiving mac mail on bby

I need help. I've spoken to 10 different people. For some reason my mac mail will not send new email to my bby. Can someone talk me through this?

can you give more details? is your mac mail setup via BIS, if yes chk the following options on yourmail program:

Thank you. I'm not sure what BIS is. I have an iBook - Mac OS X 10.4.9. I tried clicking your link but it's not working for me. any guidance is much, much appreciated.

BIS (blackberry internet service) used by you for emails on BB.

thanks. Link worked but I don't have the "Clear the Remove copy from the server after retrieving a message check box" option. I've somehow set it up so that when I log on to my mac mail acct, my bby can retrieve msgs but it still won't if I'm not signed on. very frustrating. on macworld.com it mentions setting up an IMAP path under Mail - Preferences - Accounts - Advanced, but can't find out what to type in as the path. I checked SSL for Port 993, but that's all I have so far.
 Ugh. I'm about to return it and just get the iPhone.

i would recommend calling your service provider to get it resolved, if they cant, have them escalate call to RIM and the experts will help you set it up
