Red exclamation mark in all incoming texts

I just got the Bold 9790. Every single text I receive has a red exclamation mark beside it. I found something that said this means people are marking their texts with a high importance level, but I've asked a few people and they either said no or that they don't have any idea how to do that! So obviously that's not what's happening. Does anyone know how to get rid of this? Thanks!

Hey rainlax,

Welcome to the BlackBerry Support Community Forums.

 

Thanks for the question.

 

Go into Text Messages and press Menu>Options.  Scroll down and change the Priority from Urgent to Normal.  Press Menu>Save.
