Re: Red light

ok cool, and the device then will unlock or awaken normally as it should? No errors or anything?

What is your exact model Storm? 9500, 9520, 9530, 9550?

I need to know your Operating System loaded to your device.
Look at Options > About, third line down beginning with a "v.4.xxx"

What is yours?

Re: Red light

ok, good.. ..  well not much help here.

I don't know.

The LED should NOT be solid red, at all, when "asleep".

Do this, a simple reboot on the device, With the BlackBerry device powered ON, remove the battery a few seconds and then reinsert the battery to reboot.

Now, see if the issue persists.

Re: Red light

At one of my client's offices, I have to keep my phone plugged into the computer via the USB cable because there is virtually no signal there and the batt will drain if I don't keep it on the charger.

I've noticed that if my phone is connected to the USB cable and reboots (either via QuickPull Pro scheduling or via me rebooting it) the phone will not come back on and the red LED stays lit solid.  If I disconnect the USB cable, it will finish booting.
