Reload OS on Pearl 9100 Test-engineer model

Hi All,

I have been tricked to buy a NOT FOR SALE 9100 Globel Telecom carrier.

I wiped the device and now I could not do reload OS any more.

I tried many ways to do this such as delete vendor.xml, download more 10 versions of OS but I still could not do this.

Could anyone show me a way to do with this?

Thanks,

-Duy

Re: Reload OS on Pearl 9100 Test-engineer model

Hey duypham11,

Welcome to the BlackBerry Support Community Forums.

Thanks for the question.

What happens when you try to reload the software?  Do you get a specific error?

Also have you tried to reload the software through www.blackberry.com/update

I look forward to your reply.

Cheers.

Hi ViciousFerret,

I always get error "The system software is not designed for your device". As I said and read somewhere from internet, my device has IMEI "0044xxxxxx" and this is a test/engineer device, it could not be updated OS. But now, I wiped the device and could not find any proper OS version for it as well.

Could you please review and give me some information to do with this?

Thanks,

-Duy

Thanks for the reply duypham11,

I will need you to contact us for further investigation on this engineering BlackBerry smartphone model.  Please contact your network service provider and ask to be transferred to BlackBerry so a ticket number can be created.

I appreciate your patience.

Cheers.
