Restoring Contacts from BB Protect

Hi,

I'm having a problem! I have a new BB Torch 9810 and I'm trying to restore from BB Protect but not all contacts restore - and it seems random which ones don't. I tried a resolution posted about unticking not restoring contacts which are e-mail synchronized but the only option under "Synchronisation Options" on my Torch is "Deleted items". When I look at the back-up data on Protect for the old device (Torch 9800) each synch has 2 Address Book entries with different numbers of items. Could it somehow be restoring only one of these two files? Basically: really need your help to figure this out!! Thanks.

Re: Restoring Contacts from BB Protect

Hi,

Unfortunately, no. I used to back-up to my Mac regularly but when RIM introduced BB Protect I put my faith in that and stopped backing-up the other way........
