Retrieve pictures from system memory

Hello all. I work IT for my company and am working to retrieve some pictures from one of my coworkers damaged Bold and transfer them to his new Bold. He has nearly 100 pictures stored on the system memory. I cannot get the desktop software to see them, i do not want to email them one by one and i'm not going to purchase Roxio Media Manager for one phone.

Is there any other way to get these pictures off of the phone???

Re: Retrieve pictures from system memory

1. What model Bold... you didn't say.

2. You don't have to purchase Roxio, in this case, the former versions of BlackBerry Desktop Manager which used Roxio, it was free. The more current versions of the BLackBerry Desktop Software do not use Roxio, but rather just BlackBerry Media Sync, and it too is free.

3. If you had a third party software FileScout loaded to this BlackBerry, it does read the system memory.

4. What is damaged? If you can power up the device, you can always move the images one by one to the Media Card and from there you can transfer to the PC.

Re: Retrieve pictures from system memory

1. it's a 9700

2. I tried using the Desktop Manager. It tells me: "Media Services Are Not Available" and tell me to get a media card.

3. Does filescout allow mass transfer?

4. i have two seperate Bold 9700's. The most damaged one has a completely destroyed screen.

Re: Retrieve pictures from system memory

Well, #3and #4 won't serve you well if you can't see the screen.

For the matter, neither will even emailing them to yourself.

#2. Apparently you don't have a media card in the 9700?
