Reviews are not posting

I purchased an app, Contact Cleaner and the reviews gives this app a standing ovation but the app does not work well. After going back and forth with their tech guy and getting nowhere I requested a refund, which they immediately declined. Great Company?? Anyway, I posted an honest assesment of the app and now I realize that my review is not listed. I rely on these reviews so i do not make a ourchase for a bad app but if ony the good reviews are shown and the review process is tainted; what is the point??

 

I knoe the app store for iTunes is very proactice in the review process and keeping the app store honest. Has anyone had a similar experience and does anyone know if the reviews are controled by the seller.
