SIM card is full please delete some SMS messages

I have been using BB for past 4 years and in the month of Feb I purchased BB9900. From last week I am facing some problems.

1. Everytime i receive a message I get the message stating that SIM card is full please delete some SMS messages

2. My service provider is vodafone and EDGE is not getting displayed I checked with them and they have changed the SIM but still it is not working.

I would like to get some guidance on the same.

Regards

Raghu

Re: SIM card is full please delete some SMS messages

1.  "SIM card is full please delete SMS messages" appears on the BlackBerry smartphone

2. If not EDGE, what is being displayed?

Re: SIM card is full please delete some SMS messages

On your Manage Connections screen, click on the Services Status.
What is the status of the BlackBerry Internet Service?

If it is "not connected" and if "edge" remains, you need Vodafone to confirm to you that your BIS data plan is indeed still on your account. Sometimes carriers make mistakes and remove account features accidentally.
