SMS sending from China



I have a 9800 and am living in China, using China Mobile as my carrier.


I can receive SMS with no problems, and can send to Chinese numbers no problem.  However, when I try to send to international numbers, I get "unidentified subscriber" and a red cross.  Previously I had a 9000 and the same thing occurred, except that I was able to reply to an international message successfully.  Since upgrading to the 9800, I can neither reply nor send a new message at all.


Any help would be much appreciated.

That's has nothing to do with the device,

Check with your operator what's wrong with your account or your carrier SMS service center.
