Hoping someone can help stop spam - via email - coming to my phone after purchasing an app from Blackberry App World. The company, getempower.com now sends solicitations for other apps using email@example.com and you can't make them stop.
Tried their unsubscribe link, naturally there's "an error try back later."
Tried an email filter, but the email doesn't come to my email box only to the phone.
Have deleted the app.
Doscovered the company sends these from within the app itself. But app is no longer on the device. Slick but sad...
Any thoughts on how to stop this scurge? Thanks!

Same here. Bought 2 apps-thought it was strange that my email was needed to install. Should have known better. Getting buried in spam since. Blackberry should protect users from this, especially with purchased apps.
