If I add a new ring-profile, I can select a different ringtone for different account email.
The problem appear with "Normal", "Meeting", ecc. default ring-profile.

I just do it.
The problem is (example):
- I have 2 account (firstname.lastname@example.org and email@example.com).
- I change the ring of the first account and automatically it change the ring of the other account
- if i change the ring of the secondo account, automatically change the first account
this problem don't appear if i add a new profile.
Note: first i have a BB 8100 pearl and i migrate with the Desktop Manager utility.

I do a new test:
- previous BB 8100 Pearl:
> delete all account email (option - advanced option - configuration)
> from Desktop Manager I delete the "Profile" of the BB 8100
- new BB Bold 9000
> delete all account email from administration web-site (blackberry.com)
- I try to resync the blackberry 9000 with the 8100
After resync no email is set.
I re-configure the email account. Now works correctly. Every account may have a different ring-tone.
I test it, so i hope all works fine.
