Saving a Document

I would like to save a document that I use very frequently and be able to edit it for each use.  Also, be able to email it to someone when I am finished editing it.  Can you help?  This is my first experience with a Blackberry.  I have the Blackberry 8830.

Re: Saving a Document

First, what type of document, is it a MS Word document?

If so, yes. You will need DocumentsToGo/WordToGo. The standard edition of DocsToGo comes free on your BlackBerry if you have OS version 4.5 or greater. The Standard version does allow editing of documents and save as.

On your 8830, look at:   Options > About, third line down beginning with a "v.4.xxx"

Re: Saving a Document

I have Documents to Go and Word and the document I am trying to save is a Word document.  Once I have the Word Document open how do I save it in the Documents to Go?

Re: Saving a Document

Once the document is open, hit Menu > Save As.
