Security Wipe deleted all my apps history from My World!!!

I have a bold 9700 and recently it got really really REALLY slow, to the point where out of blind frustration i went to the options screen and did a security wipe for all third party apps, i thought it would just deleted them from my phone but it deleted all my app history from app world aswell meaning i cant reinstall any of them.

 

I paid for quite a few apps including Shazam Encore and Bejoose that i really dont want to have to pay for again, is there any way i could get them back?

Hi and Welcome to the Community!

The AW servers should still have record...I suggest that you clear the on-device AppWorld application cache:

1. Open App World

2. Go to My World

3. Follow one (and only one!) of these steps:


3a. For keyboard-based BB's -- Hold down the ALT key and then press, in sequence R, then S, then T

3b. For Touch Screen Only BBs -- Hold the num-lock (!?123) button so it locks and then press, in sequence 3, then 4, then (

3c. For newer (e,g., OS6 and 7) BB's, see this KB:

4. AppWorld should close.

5. If your BB locks after issuing the cache clear, perform a battery pull reboot

6. Return to AppWorld (it may be sluggish while it re-synchronizes). Log into MyWorld (if applicable -- it will require both your BB ID username and password this time; it will not remember your BB ID username after a clear cache) and try again.

If step (4) and or (6) do not happen as listed, then the clear cache did not work.

I have good news for you:  A security wipe does not delete your App World history.  Let's get it back for you.

 

On your phone, open App World.  Once it has opened, click My World.  Next, press the menu key and select Refresh List.  If I know anything about BlackBerry devices, I'm betting you'll see a bunch of apps that you once had.  You might have to click Installed at the top of the list to get it to become Uninstalled, but somewhere within App World you should find them again.
