Service problems

Hi,

 

I have had my 9800 for about 3 weeks now and in the last two days I have had the same problem happen. My phone just looses the ability to do anything with the network (sms, phone, etc) but everything else still works (games, apps, etc). It shows (top right corner) that I have a valid signal and it also displays the signal strength, but I cannot receive or send text messages (always get a X with retries exceeded) and also when trying to make a call I get a "no service currently available"message. The only way to get it working again is to pull the battery on the unit and then it gets reset.

 

Does anyone know of a fix for this or what the problem could be?
