Set up Email account

I got the Bold mainly as I needed to trace email at work. It is my private handset and I wanted to add it to the enterprise network of my workplace, my administrator added me and I synchronize with my email and calendar, few hours afterwards it stopped. I rang customer service where I was told to set up my email address through their site first, which I did. Email work fine but not synchronize through the web, I guess I'm not on the enterprise network of the workplace as I'm private customer. This means calendar are not synchronized and emails delivery are in delay, moreover I can not even synchronize through desktop like a private customer as the only option to set up email account in my device is the enterprise one. What shell I do?
