If you have the POP3 or IMAP information you can add the email to the website and have it periodically check for new mail.
The website can be accessed at www.blackberry.com/go/vzw. If the retail store setup your hotmail they should have asked you for a user ID and password for this site. If you don't know it then you will have to contact VZW tech support or the retail store tech taht set it up and have them provide it for you.

Think I got it. Thanks.
Do you know how often it checks for new mail messages? It isn't instant like a regular email would be in Outlook right?
Sorry, this is my first Blackberry and first time using my phone for emails.
